1956 Fender Stratocaster

BMVG's is pleased to offer a monstrous 2 owner 1956 Fender Stratocaster!
This guitar ROCKS! The first iteration (54-early 56) of the Strat is by far my favorite. Ash bodies, typically a little weightier which in my opinion only (don't shoot) translates to a thicker tone; this one is 8 lbs 3oz. It has a super juicy & addictive neck .90 - 1.01
 
This instrument is dated 3/56 both body and neck and the pots date to the 5th week of 1956. The pickups & electronics are straight (no rewinds or issues) and undoubtably original to the guitar. The pickups read 5.4 N - 5.4 M - 5.2 B. Are incredibly balanced and project much stronger than they read, which isn't uncommon. This one is a really strong player +.
 
The only thing keeping this instrument from being 100% original is longer pickup adjustment screws were once used which lead to 1/4 inch deep 1/8th wide circular impressions into the pickup cavities to accommodate them, see pic. The original screws are back on. Finally, one extra screw was added to the pick guard, right above the bridge, which has been removed.
The original case is in fair/good condition, can ship in a modern case with the original included of course.
