1959 Gibson ES-345
Calling all collectors! BMVG's is at it again!
With less than 450 Burst Killers made in 1959 these guitars are rare. To find one in 100% original & for all intents and purposes mint condition is exceedingly rare. Frets, tuner tips, wiring, un-popped pickups; every single piece of this beauty is as it was the day it left Kalamazoo 64+ years ago.
The color is rich and deep with zero fade. The finish is essentially flawless and shows no signs of checking, only a couple of minor marks with nothing through to the wood.
Sonically speaking this example is terrific, the varitone functions as it should and offers the player an excellent array of tonal options. The neck is full and round with soft shoulders measuring .87 at the 1st fret. Using the S stamped FON to accurately date this guitar we have found that it is from the 2nd rack of 345's ever produced.
This is without question the type of instrument to enjoy and hold on to. A perfect, original PAF guitar from 1959 that won't break the bank.
