1962 Gibson ES-335

BMVG's is pleased to present a killer PAF loaded 1962 Gibson ES-335!
 
The last year for PAF's as the standard (though you do find some here and there in 63) and the first year for small block inlays; a super cool combination without a doubt. This example has a rich sunburst finish on a very expressive top, looks amazing in hand. 
 
The factory sealed PAF's are incredibly articulate and capable of being quite stingy. They measure a very well balanced 7.4 N & 7.7 B. The neck has nice width and good depth coming in at .82 - .88. The block neck 335 weighs a very pleasant 7 9oz. It plays perfectly up and down the board thanks to a pro re-fret.
 
There was a Gretsch trapeze style tailpiece installed at one point, leaving a light beard and two holes at the end pin. Some strap rash is also present on the back, nothing major and a couple bucks have been taken off!
